Air Vice Marshal Muhammad Sabiu Ibrahim (NAF/2225) was born in Kano on 16 Sep 69. He hails from Bichi Local Government Area of Kano State. He attended to Government Secondary School, Bichi Kano State where he obtained his Secondary School Certificate in 1984. After his secondary education, he was enlisted into the Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna, as a member of 40th Regular Course on 10 Sep 88 and was commissioned a Plt Offr on 17 Sep 94, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics.

He has attended courses, some of which include; Initial Supply Officers’ Course, Junior Staff Course, Senior Staff Course and the Defence Course. Other certificates acquired includes; FALCON 7X Store Management, Warehousing & Material Management, International Cargo Training on Dangerous Goods by Air, Aviation Store Management, Aviation Fuel Management. He has a Master Degree in International Affairs and Diplomacy. He is a member of Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport, Nigerian Institute of International Affairs, Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Management of Nigeria, Fellow Chartered Institute of Supply Chain Management Professional, Fellow Certified Institute of Ware Housing and Material Management, Fellow Institute of Public Management, Fellow Chartered Institute of Human Resources and Strategic Management, Fellow Defence College. Some of the appointments he has held include; Commanding Officer Nigerian Air Force Clearing Agency, Command Supply Officer, Deputy Director of Logistic Defence Intelligent Agency, Depot Supply Officer 643 Equipment Supply Depot, Commander 643 Equipment Supply Depot, Commander 251 Base Services Group, Commander 151 Base Services Group. Others include; Deputy Director Innovation & Concept Development Defence Head Quarters, Director of Logistics Headquarters Nigerian Air Force and currently Managing Director NAFIL Housing and Construction Company.

He is happily married and blessed with children. His hobbies include: reading, travelling and jogging.
